The Belarusian Federation for Fire and Rescue Sports was established in 1998.

One of the main activities of the Public Association "The Belarusian Federation for Fire and Rescue Sports" is to improve the physical and specialized training of firemen and rescuers. That's why Fire and Rescue Sport  takes a special place among the sport activities of the Ministry for Emergencies of the Republic of Belarus.

The Federation plays an important role in upgrading facilities and holding national competitions for the Fire and Rescue Sports, including the international tournament for the Cup of the Belarusian Federation for Fire and Rescue Sports. Also it takes part in organizing the year-round training of  the Belarussian national teams (adults and youth), their participation in international competitions and World Championships in Fire and Rescue Sport.
