Dear Colleagues!

The International Sports Federation of Fire Fighters and Rescuers and the Federal organization of municipal formations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran are thus announcing about the III World Championship among fire-fighters and rescuers «Iran 2006». This Championship will be held from November 1 till November 5 of 2006 in a Teheran under protection of Minister Interior Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In competitions participation of 25 combined teams of the different countries of the world is planned. The World Championship there will pass in the Central stadium of Teheran "AZADI", containing up to 100 thousand spectators.

The strongest sportsmen, masters of sports of the international class, winners of the international tournaments and the world championships will take part in the Championship.

The Gala opening of the III World Championship among fire fighters and rescuers «Iran 2006» is scheduled for November, 3rd, 2006.

In the framework of the Championship International Exhibition of the fire technical and rescue products and equipment is to be held with the participation of world leading fire and rescue equipment producers.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the International Sports Federation of Fire fighters and Rescuers and with the due respect to you and to your country’s national team I have the honor thus to invite officially you and the sports delegation of your country from October, 31st till November, 6th, 2006 in a Teheran, Islamic Republic Iran.

Sports delegation composition will be as follows: 10 sportsmen, 2 trainers, medical doctor, delegation’s head, and representative of a command, 2 judges and 3 members of delegation

Also as guests of honor 2-3 observers can present your country.

All the expenses to run the Championship are born by the receiving side – Islamic Republic of Iran

The expenses involved with delegations’ trips (i.e. travel expenses, en route per diems, insurances, work salaries etc.) are born by the sending sides and countries.

For participation in action it is necessary to have at it self 2 national flags, and a CD with record of a national anthem (in format MP3) and a payment for participation in the World championship at a rate of 1.000 US dollars.

You are requested hereby to inform about the decision to participate in the Championship,  fill the attached form (see Appendix 1) and forward it to the Executive Committee of the International Sports Federation of Fire Fighters and the Federal organization of municipal formations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Islamic Republic of Iran not later on August, 10th, 2006 to addresses:
