Resolution No.2

                                                                            of the 5th Conference of the International Sports

                                                                                    Federation of Fire fighters and Rescuers

                                                                                (Sekeshfehervar, Hungary, December 9, 2004)             

After reviewing the issue of amending the Rules for the International Competition on sports of fire fighters and rescuers the Conference has decided to amend the latter as follows:

1.        Close 5.4.1. to add “consider the width of the runway for the relay race no less than 2 m.40 cm.”

2.        Close 5.4.5. to add “the foundation of the house should be no less than 2 m. 50 cm.”

3.        Close 5.2.2./g/ “the distance from the upper surface of the window plate to the floor should be 80 plus 7 cm. (when the contact spots are used).”

4.        Close 5.5.1./d/ “the junction should be placed on the support base with no more than 4 legs with diameter of no more 3 cm. and the use of platform support base is excluded.”

5.        Close 4.7. to add : “in the moment of the relay of the hose end to the athlete at the 4 stage all semi-joints should be fixed. It is forbidden to anyone to touch the hoses after the start signal made by voice or by the signal pistol shot.”

6.        Close  4.6. to add  with the remark: “it is recommended to use safety net during the competition. For the net design see supplement  No. to the Rules.”

7.        Close 4.2.6  to omit: “with the second warning the athlete is banned to start.”

8.        Close 5.5.1. to add : “the number of the ladder steps is 13.”

9.        Close  5.5.1./d/ “to consider the distance between the lower tooth of the joint head to the run way surface should be no more than 6 cm.”

10.      Close 5.5.1./v/ to add: “the joint head type /ROTT/.”

11.       To amend “the Conditions of the Combat Deployment” with:

11.1. Close 6. omit the “switchable” hoses ends with sprinkles dia.13 mm.

11.2. to describe the pump modification as “with buttons.”

11.3. to describe: “while fixing the equipment on the board all joining heads should be disengaged, with the distance between the tooth no less than 0.5 cm.”

11.4. to add: “the athletes are forbidden to touch the dividing line while performing the exercise.”

 11.5 to omit: “while filling the target the hose end holder use the support on run way surface.”

11.6. to omit in remarks: “the tank and the target are fixed strictly horizontaly as per its lower edges;”

         to add in remarks : “the tank and the board are fixed on its central axel.”

11.7.Close 4.4.2. to add: “while using the time measuring devices the athlete’s result is fixed only by the electronic watch.”

11.8. in Supplement to the Rules to include the parameters of electronic contact finishing spots.

11.9. Close 3.1.1. to add: “the Chief International Judge-cum-Inspector included into the Judges’ Panel is nominated for the World and /or European Championships and other major international tournaments held under the aegis of ISFFR.”

12. While performing “the Combat Deployment” exercise:

12.1. to add: “the result should be registered also with digital video camera.

12.2. to supplement the Rules with the Requirements to the conditions to run the competitions.

13. Close 4.6. “Finish. The athlete touches the floor by both legs.  With electronic finishing contact spots are in use the time is fixed when the electronic finishing contact spots worked.”
