The International Conference of the European Member Countries of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers has been held

On February 28, 2026, in Frankenburg (Republic of Austria), a delegation of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers (ISFFR), led by Director of the ISFFR Andrei Kalinin, participated in the International Conference with representatives of the fire and rescue sport associations of Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic to promote international cooperation in fire and rescue sport.

The Conference addressed a number of issues:

• Coordination and interaction before and during World Championships;
• Mutual support in nominating and voting for candidates for judges at World Championships;
• Mutual coordination in submitting proposals and voting on amendments to the International Rules for Fire and Rescue Sport;
• Support for the ISFFR through participation in all ISFFR events, not only in the World Championships among adults, but also in other events.
• New fire and rescue sport judges among the European members of the ISFFR;
• Dates for the Youth World Championship;
• Updates on ISFFR activities following the meeting in Baku;
• Signing of a memorandum on mutual cooperation between the European members of the ISFFR;
• other issues.

Conference participants discussed prospects for developing the activities of the associations of the European member countries of the ISFFR, promoting and popularizing fire and rescue sport in European countries and strengthening international cooperation.
