Announcement of the International Competitions in Fire and Rescue Sport for the Cup «Friendship» and the prize «Golden Assault Ladder»

From May 15 to 21, 2024 on the basis of the stadium of "Volgograd State Academy of Physical Culture" (Volgograd, 78 Lenin Ave.) under the auspices of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers will be held International competitions in fire and rescue sport for the Cup of "Friendship" and the prize "Golden Assault". The grand opening of the International Competition will be held on May 17, 2024 at 17.00 on the Lower Terrace of the 62nd Army Embankment.

For many years PJSC Sberbank has been the General Sponsor of the International Fire and Rescue Sports Competitions.

The objectives of the competition are to implement international sports cooperation, strengthen friendly relations with fire and rescue services of different countries, promote and demonstrate the level of professionalism of firefighters and rescuers, further develop and popularize the profession of firefighters and rescuers, prepare for the XIX World Championship among men and X World Championship among women in fire and rescue sports, which will be held in September 2024 in the People's Republic of China (Harbin).

The participation of sports delegations of the countries, members of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Cameroon, the State of Qatar, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Czech Republic, the Republic of South Africa is planned in the competition.

Fire-rescuers will demonstrate physical training and the highest athletic achievements, tangible in the fight for human lives!

It is not for nothing that fire-rescue sport is considered the sport of the strong, agile and brave.

May 15 - Arrival of teams, accreditation of sports delegations
May 16 - Commission on admission of athletes, testing of sports equipment, meeting of representatives of teams and the Chief Judging Board.
May 17 - Climbing the assault ladder to the 4th and 2nd floors of the training tower (preliminary and final races), Grand opening of the competition.
May 18 - Overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course (preliminary and final races)
May 19 - Fire relay 4x100 meters
May 20 - Combat deployment
